The hire period commences at 3.00pm on the first day and concludes at 10.00am on the last day.

A DEPOSIT is required within seven days of a tentative booking for confirmation of hire. Usually ranging between $500 – $1000.
The BALANCE of the hire fee is required 6 weeks prior to your departure date. Payments can be made by electronic funds transfer into our account or by credit card or cash.
IF PAYING BALANCE BY CREDIT CARD A FEE WILL APPLY.
Before boarding, a SECURITY BOND is payable, this can be paid into our account prior or in cash on day of boarding. This fee ranging between $800-$2500. (Higher Bond/s will apply for All Male/All Female Crews upon application.) “The Bond is refunded 14 working days upon the end of the hire period, less fuel/oil costs and any loss or damage at cost. Unless an insurance claim needs to be processed.”
CANCELLATION POLICY
Please note: This cancellation policy is widely accepted by most Houseboat Owners; however, Owners reserve the right to specify individual cancellation policies. Cancellations notified more than 45 days prior to departure will forfeit all monies paid unless the houseboat can be re-booked for its full value, in which case, all monies paid will be refunded less cancellation fee. Cancellations fee of $200 up to $500 is applicable. Subject to houseboat hired.
